Before joining Organ Law in 2020, Ashley worked as the Staff Attorney to the partners of Geiser, Bowman and McLafferty, LLC, a firm specializing in Personal Injury law. Through representing plaintiffs across Ohio, she gained personal experience in each stage of the civil litigation process, including trial and appeal. Ashley has negotiated settlements on behalf of clients, conducted and defended depositions, drafted dispositive motions, and appeared before the Tenth District Court of Appeals for oral argument.

Ashley graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in May 2017. She passed the July 2017 Ohio Bar Exam and began actively practicing law in November 2017. During law school, she worked as a certified legal intern for the Franklin County Prosecutor’s office, volunteered at the YWCA Family Center Pro Bono Legal Clinic, and served as Chief Managing Editor of The Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law.

Ashley graduated magna cum laude from the University of Dayton, where she worked as the undergraduate assistant to the dean of the Political Science Department and held leadership positions in Phi Alpha Delta International Pre-Law Fraternity, Alpha Phi International Fraternity, as well as numerous other honorary societies. She was selected to participate in the Dayton Civic Scholars program, where she completed an eight-week fellowship at the Ohio General Assembly.

Ashley is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Columbus Bar Association.
