Josh Feasel joined Organ Law in 2013 after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Paul Maloney, Chief Judge of the Western District of Michigan.
Before clerking, Josh spent several years as a litigator with Cooley LLP in San Francisco and Palo Alto. At Cooley, he litigated complex commercial cases and technology disputes in federal and state courts, including representing NVIDIA Corporation in a large contract dispute with Intel Corporation in the Delaware Court of Chancery. He has also litigated a number of patent disputes, and he helped represent a group of Somali citizens in a human-rights suit against the country’s former Prime Minister in the United States Supreme Court.
Since joining Organ Law, Josh has been selected to the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 Ohio Rising Stars lists. His recent work includes contract and employment disputes, regulatory enforcement actions, false-claims law, and intellectual property disputes.
Josh graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served as an Articles Editor on the Harvard Civil Rights–Civil Liberties Law Review. He grew up in Ohio and attended Case Western Reserve University, receiving a B.S. in Computer Science in 2005.
