Lindsey Woods

Lindsey M. Woods is an associate at Organ Law LLP and a Columbus civil litigator selected to the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for 2025–2027 and named a Columbus CEO Top Lawyer in 2024. She represents individuals, businesses, governmental entities, and corporate clients in contract, business-tort, employment, insurance, estate, securities, and real-estate disputes from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal. In 2026, Lindsey served as counsel for the Ohio Tax Commissioner in Dollar Bank, FSB v. Harris, a unanimous Supreme Court of Ohio decision upholding Ohio’s financial-institutions tax. A former Chicago Tribune journalist, she brings rigorous fact development and persuasive writing to litigation and maintains a substantial constitutional and immigration pro bono practice, including service on the Associate Leadership Board of the National Immigrant Justice Center.

With her background as a journalist, Lindsey is passionate about advocating for her clients in writing as well as in the courtroom. The skills she developed working for the Chicago Tribune and other Chicago media institutions now help her creatively and effectively problem-solve for clients in a litigation setting.



Lindsey also maintains a robust pro bono practice that focuses on constitutional and immigration law. She serves as a member of the Associate Leadership Board for the National Immigrant Justice Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring access to justice for immigrants navigating the U.S. legal system.
